Location
The Yarra Valley is internationally known as one of Australia’s leading wine producing region and is a region known for its fresh produce and sustainability. Covering approximately 40km by 80km of land, The Yarra Valley is situated in Victoria, Australia and is located 45km East of the Melbourne CBD. The two major rivers that run through the Yarra Valley region include the Yarra River, which runs from East to West and Plenty River, which runs along the Western border. The area is bordered by Gembrook in the South area, Kinglake in the North, Wantirna in the West and Mount Gregory in the East. Other major surrounding towns are Lilydale, Healesville, Yarra Glen and St. Andrews.
